New Years Day Walk.

Helps to blow the cobwebs away after the Christmas festivities and enjoy a leisurely lunch in the company of good MG friends. Meeting at 10am with lunch around 12noon.

The Quiz.

This is held every year around mid February, MGs vs VHVC, everyone from both clubs can take part if they wish, no one person has to answer questions as it's a team game, questions are set alternately each year by both clubs, a Trophy being the prize. A very friendly, congenial evening.

Easter Bonnet Run.

This particular event was started approx 25 yrs ago, both clubs (MGs and VHVCs) enjoy the event taking great pleasure in decorating their cars and wearing Easter bonnets which are judged with prizes for the best Ladies, Mens, Childrens (Boys and Girls) and the best decorated car, and Easter Egg hunt for the children, ending with tea and the judging at the end of the run.

Golf Match.

This is held every spring, a fun day with both the MGs and VHVC in contest at the local pitch and putt course on Sandown Sea front ending with tea, Trophy for the team with the lowest score, and two more for the lowest Ladies score and Mens score.

Cricket Match.

This is held during the summer at various venues, both clubs providing eleven players, with one game in the morning followed by a picnic lunch and then the second game in the afternoon, lots of camaraderie.

A Skittles Contest.

This is held each year in November between the MGs and the VHVCs with a Trophy up for grabs, good fun evening with lots of laughter guaranteed.

Annual Dinner Dance.

To finish off the year we hold this at a good local hotel with many stopping over for B&B to escape the drink 'n' drive law, a really great social event which is enjoyed by all who take part.

Special Runs during the Year.

Valentines Day, Mad March Hare, April Fools, May Day, all with a Quiz and ending with Tea and Cakes.

Every month in the winter we go for a pub lunch at a different venue of our choice around the Island.
